Central African Republic Travel Advisory Changed

This Advice was last issued by DFAT on Tuesday, 21 October 2014.   This advice includes updated information in the Summary and under Entry and exit (the Central African Republic may take preventative measures to avoid the spread of Ebola, including border closures). We continue to strongly advise you not to travel to the Central African Republic. The security situation across the country, including Bangui, remains fragile due to ongoing serious and indiscriminate violence, activities of armed rebels and other groups and high levels of serious crime.
