Beyond allowing us to offer our services to families on a pro-bono basis, your valued donation will also allow Australians Detained Abroad to:
- Assisting families to pay the costs associated with having a family member detained abroad, including helping with telephone bills, flights and translators fees.
- Liaising with government departments, non-governmental organisations and legal representatives in foreign jurisdictions to ensure that detainees receive legal assistance and their medical and personal needs are met.
- Producing publications informing prospective traveler’s of their rights and responsibilities when they travel abroad.
- Enhancing our advocacy for the families of Australians detained abroad.
